I am assuming these posts are the remnants of a pier that once jutted out into the gulf. The sea birds are always playing musical chairs.

The Gecko Queen

Lola draws geckos

wherever she goes,

On chalkboards or whiteboards

or with sand in her toes.

A twinkle of her eye

with a smile so wide,

And my passing fancy

will wash away with the tide.
